Ambassadors Help Raise Awareness
Play Yellow ambassadors help keep our national movement in full swing. This group includes amateur and professional golfers, social media influencers, and media personalities. By leveraging their platforms and audiences, ambassadors rally communities around supporting children’s healthcare.
Alexandra O’Laughlin
Alexandra O’ Laughlin is a former collegiate golfer who captained the Lewis University Flyers and earned a degree in Mass Communication, Electronic Media Production, and Radio/TV Broadcasting. She has since transitioned into a media career, working with Golf Channel and NBC Sports, and hosting her own show, Go Around with Alexandra O’Laughlin, where she explores golf courses and travel destinations around the globe.
Ana Belac
Ana Belac is a rising star on the LPGA Tour, originally from Slovenia, known for her powerful game and strong work ethic. A Stanford University graduate, she continues to make an impact with her steady performances and aspirations to be a leader in women’s golf.
Bo Hoag
Bo Hoag is a PGA TOUR professional and third-generation golfer from Ohio who earned his first TOUR card in 2019. A graduate of Ohio State University, he continues to build his career while honoring a deep family legacy in the game.
Boo Weekley
Boo Weekley is a highly respected PGA Tour professional, with three career victories, including two at the prestigious Verizon Heritage in 2007 and 2008, and a third at the 2013 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. Known for his engaging personality and relaxed approach to the game, Weekley earned a spot on the 2008 U.S. Ryder Cup team, showcasing his skill and commitment to excellence on the international stage. After a successful recovery from injury, he returned to competitive golf in 2019 and began competing on the PGA Tour Champions in 2023, continuing to inspire with his passion for the game.
Brandon Matthews
Brandon Matthews is a PGA TOUR professional from Pennsylvania known for having one of the longest drives in professional golf. A Temple University alum, he gained national attention for his sportsmanship and continues to inspire fans with his play and character.
Carlee Shoemaker
Carlee Shoemaker is a former collegiate golfer who earned first-team All-American honors at the University of the Cumberlands, where she won five tournaments in a single season and set a program record with a 74.21 stroke average. She later transferred to Eastern Kentucky University, where she continued to compete at a high level, showcasing her dedication and skill in the sport.
Chantel McCabe
Chantel McCabe is a prominent sports broadcaster who has made her mark covering golf events for Golf Channel. Since joining the network in 2016, she has provided insightful reporting and interviews at major golf tournaments like The Masters, the U.S. Open, and the Solheim Cup, earning praise for her thorough knowledge of the game and engaging commentary.
Chase Johnson
Chase Johnson is a professional golfer who has competed on both the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR since turning pro. A former standout at the University of California, Berkeley, he earned a notable top-10 finish at the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Championship, showcasing his rising potential on the professional circuit.
Chris Gotterup
Chris Gotterup is a PGA TOUR professional and former University of Oklahoma standout who turned pro in 2022. In May 2024, he secured his first PGA TOUR victory at the Myrtle Beach Classic, finishing six strokes ahead of the field with a 22-under-par total.
Denny McCarthy
Denny McCarthy is a PGA TOUR professional recognized for his elite putting and consistent play. A former collegiate standout at the University of Virginia, he continues to make his mark on tour with multiple top finishes.
Elise Lobb
Elise Lobb is a lifelong golfer, proud mom, and passionate advocate for children’s health. Having picked up a club at the age of three, Elise’s love for the game has grown into more than just a sport. It has become a platform to inspire, connect, and give back. Whether she’s on the golf course, creating family-focused content, or building new projects that blend golf and giving back, Elise leads with gratitude and purpose. Her role with Play Yellow reflects her dedication to helping children heal, thrive, and dream big.. on and off the course!
Emma Carpenter
Emma Carpenter is a former Division I golfer at the University of Minnesota, where she excelled both on the course and in leadership roles with the team. In addition to her golf career, Emma has made a name for herself in sports broadcasting, earning the Lisa Byington Award in 2023 for her exceptional work with Big Ten Network’s StudentU program.
