Who We Are
Play Yellow was launched in 2019 by Children’s Miracle Network® in partnership with Jack and Barbara Nicklaus and the PGA TOUR. We rally the passion of golfers, fans and partners around one shared purpose: raising crucial funds to support life-changing care, cutting-edge research, pediatric equipment and more at local children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada.
Why Play Yellow?
When you Play Yellow with Children’s Miracle Network, you can transform the sport you love into a catalyst for change. Whether you host a tournament, engage through your business or simply wear yellow on the course, you’re helping create brighter futures for all kids, one swing at a time.
How It Works
Play Yellow is how the golf community comes together to support Children’s Miracle Network. Whether you join a fundraising event, host one of your own or partner your business with us, funds raised go directly to the areas of greatest need at your local children’s hospital.
Our Legacy
Play Yellow’s origin began with Craig Smith, a young family friend of Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, who was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer in 1968. Jack wore his signature lucky yellow shirt to honor Craig, and it became a symbol that would inspire the Nicklaus family’s legacy of supporting children’s healthcare and the national Play Yellow movement we know today.
Our Community
Play Yellow unites passionate people and organizations around the shared goal of making big change for all kids. Explore our community and learn how you can support your local Children’s Miracle Network hospital through the game of golf.
